Services and Recreation
Neihart is a historic mining town located in the middle of the Little Belts on scenic Highway 89, about 50 miles from Great Falls, MT. There is a post office but no cell phone service. Find lodging, fuel, food and drinks at Bob's and all the groceries you will need at the Inconvenience Store located in the middle of town. During the summer the area has near perfect camping, fishing, hunting, biking, ATVing and hiking for any adventurer looking for the path less taken.
Culture
The sleepy mountain town of Neihart, population 40, is a relaxing place to get away from the commotion of larger areas, though at times can be lively. With Showdown Montana only 8 miles away, during the winter the town is hopping with skiers, snowmobilers, cross country skiers and dog mushers. Summertime is a very lush time period for this area, so bring you camera. The locals around here are friendly, and very informative about the terrain and history around the town.
