The Basin of Wonders 

This area is a recreational paradise! There are several ways to get into the Little Belts along Highway 87. These access points are on the east side of the mountain range, and provide incredible views, extraordinary trails and plenty of camping spots. There are also many great little towns like Stanford and Hobson, Montana. During the summer, kick off your adventure into the Little Belt Mountains along the C.M. Russell Trail at the Jusith Basin History Musuem in Utica, MT.  Another very unique piece of history from this area invloves the mining of a rare stone, the Yogo sapphire. The Yogo sapphire is one of the rarest of gemstones in the world, and can only be found right here! One can easily say, this area is a true "hidden gem"!
